Missoula Children’s Theatre: Alice in Wonderland
“Alice in Wonderland” Theater Performances
The City of Edinburg is thrilled to announce open auditions for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of Alice in Wonderland! This exciting opportunity invites young performers to take center stage in a professionally guided theatrical experience, culminating in two enchanting performances.
Auditions will take place on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Edinburg Arts, Culture, and Events (ACE) Center. Students wishing to audition should arrive by 3:45 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two-hour session. No previous acting experience or preparation is required—just bring enthusiasm and a willingness to perform! Some cast members will be asked to remain for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Their commitment to youth arts education continues to inspire creativity and cultural enrichment in our community.

This production is open to all students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Approximately 50-60 roles are available, offering a fantastic opportunity for young actors to step into the magical world of Wonderland.
Additionally, up to 4 students will be cast as Assistant Directors.

Selected students will rehearse daily, Monday through Friday (April 7 through April 11, 2025), for approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes each day.
Rehearsals will start on Monday, April 7 at 6:15 p.m. immediately following the auditions.
*Rehearsals for the remainder of the week will be Tuesday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
*Not all roles will be required to stay for the duration of the entire rehearsal. Rehearsal call times will be announced.

The hard work and dedication of these young actors will come to life on Saturday, April 12, 2025, with two public performances at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m at the Edinburg Municipal Auditorium located at 200 N. 7th St. Edinburg TX, 78539.
